America's Promise is a collaborative network that builds upon the collective power of communities and partners to fulfill the Five Promises for every young person in America.

The Five Promises are:

1. Caring Adults - ongoing relationship with caring adults - parents, mentors, tutors or coaches.

2. Safe Places - safe places with structured activities during non school hours                    

3. Healthy Start - healthy start and future

4. Marketable Skills - marketable skills through effective education.

5. Opportunities to Serve - opportunities to give back through community service.
